Praise for Sale band concert

WE attended the recent concert to celebrate Sale City Band's 140th birthday.
We enjoyed the wonderful performance of the Sale City Band under the excellent guidance of Hugh Davies. They played an entertaining program of music from their extensive 140-year repertoire.
We were also treated to stirring tunes from the Sale RSL Pipe Band and enchanting harmonies from the Stratford Singers.
Darren McCubbin's wit and humour as master of ceremonies added to the overall enjojment.
Wellington Shire is fortunate to have such a variety of local musical talent.
May the Sale City Band continue to entertain for another 140 years.
