Reporting to the Sale Town Council on Monday night, Cr. R. G. Howard said that he had been informed that the Sale Band had grown considerably under the influence of the bandmaster (Mr. McLean). It was stated that there were 54 juniors receiving instructions and the time would not be far distant when the town would have a band of which it could be well proud. It was decided to send a letter of congratulations to the bandmaster.
